The United States has more than 1,000,000 people either in jail, or awaiting trial. We've overused incarceration so much that we've succeeded in socializing a whole generation into going to jail. Even worse, when individuals get out of prison, they almost always have the same problem that got them into trouble in the first place.
That's why 80% of ex-inmates end up right back in prison. The YDREAM Pre-Trial Diversion /Probation Program provides an alternative.
The YDREAM Program provides an alternative to incarceration that works. The idea is simple. Instead of sending kids to jail, the court sends them to us.

We help rectify the problems that got the kid into trouble in the first place.
It could be a family problem, a drug habit, alcohol abuse, or illiteracy. The kids may need counseling, tutoring, job training, or rehabilitation. Sometimes they need a place to live, food, and even clothing.
Whatever the problem, we almost always find a way to help.
And when we do, we solve the real problem and something amazing happens.
